The catastrophe of less Europe

Fernand Jadoul (NL) worked in Brussels as a Director of Public Affairs for 15 years. For over 10 years he has been honorary consul to Luxembourg, and in that function also chairman of the Corps Consulaire à Maestricht. Apart from this he is among other things active as the chairman of the citizens’ initiative ‘Where there is a will, there is no border’, aiming at cross-border cooperation in the Euregion(s).

The catastrophe of less Europe
The EU is in a dip in various respects. Still, having ‘less Europe’ would be catastrophic for border regions. It would therefore be advisable to go for closer cooperation across the EU’s internal borders and to strengthen and deepen ties. This lecture will point possible ways forward.

N.B. There will be a German-language version and a French-language version of the lecture
